I think I want to live at the Goodwill!

I swear, I'd even work there except I know you can't buy anything when you are on the clock!
I asked!

I seriously go twice a week and have even been known to go twice in one day! If you want to find the best stuff you need to do the work.

So without further ado my awesome find from the other day was............

A huge Tanner and Kenzie lamp shade for only $4.99! Brand new in the plastic even!

Ahhhhh, I screamed as I spotted it! Ok, only in my mind, I didn't want to scare anyone!

Double click on the image for a closer look at it's beauty!

As you can see from the size of my coffee table the shade is quite large!

Inside is a neat shiny silver, ooooooh!

I'm still trying to convince my hubby to switch out the chandelier in the dining room for this lovely creature! What do you think?

Countdown to the end of the school year has started! I can't believe it, next week my kiddos are out of school, help!

Lots to do before they start driving me crazy for the summer! Off to do some purging of their crap. Its so much easier when they aren't here to say, "But that's my favorite, you can't get rid of that!"

Uh, sure I can, I just did! Muwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Oh yeah baby, that's gorgeous!

If you removed the shades from your chandy, would you be able to fit the new shade over it? Something to consider instead of replacing. Of course it would still require you to take it down and thread the new shade through the wires, but it could work.

I too love Goodwill. I went this weekend. Found some new towels and an awesome midi skirt. I meant to look at curtains but forgot. I found a signed and numbered picture of a Crane I really wanted but I walked off and forgot it. If its still there next time maybe I will snatch it then. I can find almost everything I need at Goodwill. The jacket I have on today is from Goodwill.
Nice shade!

I love the Goodwill too and go there at least once a week. I've found some incredible buys. When people compliment me on my house and hear the things they like came from the Goodwill, garage sales or Big Lots, they are amazed!

reeling with jealousy but then again I wouldn't have thought to use it as the chandelier. This, my smart and clever friend, is why I need to roll with you.

I am thrilled you find good items at low prices like this shade. My GW has priced me out and I had to break up with them. When I told the cashier we were breaking up she looked at me strangely.

Gorgeous lamp shade! Say...I was wondering..when you move into Goodwill, would you be interested in a roommate?

Very pretty shade. I used to go to goodwill all the time when I lived in seattle, but the goodwill where I live now, is not so great and that's putting it nicely. We live in a very poor area so the pickings are pretty slim at best. Wish we had better stuff! Following you from bloggy moms, look forward to your future posts!

LOVE your attitude! My daughter just moved her stuff into the apartment that she will share with her fiance after their wedding this June and she is just now discovering the JOY of Goodwill :) Great post, gonna follow you and see where else you lead!

You have good Goodwill! Ours is strictly shopped by homeless people and has no treasures…except really big Pink Panthers from some arcade place.

New follower from the Terrific Thursday hop. I love the shade and do think it would look great in your dining room. My oldest son would have me go to the Goodwill and just buy him tons of T's to wear for high school! Also I love Marilyn quotes. :) Would love for you to visit me at Life or Something Like It and possibly follow back.
