Versatile Blogger Award.........Who Me?

No, really, you picked me?

I was so surprised to find this award from Lindsey of Boman Party of 5! What a sweetie for thinking I am so Versatile.

I haven't thought much about awards lately, or followers even. I just enjoy getting my thoughts and ideas out there. It is just the icing on the cake when someone leaves a comment or decides to follow little ole me!

To accept this award, you must do the following:

1. Thank the Blogger who passed this award on to you:

2. Share 7 things about yourself with the Blogging world:

3. Pass this award on to others:

Many thanks to you dear Lindsey
I am not worthy, I am not worthy!

7 things about me ~ Wow now lets see ~

1. I have always wanted to learn to play the drums and hope to learn one day!

2. We currently have a lost lizard somewhere in my house, and I am not kidding!

3. I drink my coffee through a straw and even when I'm at a restaurant. Hey I gotta keep these pearly whites, white!

4. A couple of summers ago, I broke my big toe playing badminton against my husband. It can get pretty nasty out there, we are so competitive!

5. I love to embarrass my son, so at his Football game on Sunday, I brought my cheer leading megaphone and stood up and yelled throughout the whole game. It sure got the crowd fired up and we won, 34 - 0!

6. I am an organized hoarder, well that's what my husband tells me. I collect things and know there will be a use for it someday!

7. I love anything with a witch on it for Halloween. I just love what a witch hat looks like and get giddy every time I see one!

This is always the hard part, passing it on to other deserving Bloggers. I find so many of you deserving of this fine award.

This award goes to.........

1. Robyn of the pink peony of Le Jardin

2. Amanda of Imperfectly Beautiful

3. Amy of Whisperwood Cottage

Well, I'm going to stop there because my list of you versatile Bloggers could go on and on. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Alfred Hitchcock......The Birds!

Flixster - Share Movies

Do you remember the movie "The Birds" with Tippi Hedren? What a creepy movie that was. I remember when I saw it for the first time I was terrified to walk outside. I kept looking up and even freaked when I saw a finch. Well since Halloween is fast approaching, I've been having birds on the brain. Ok, maybe a crow or two!

This is my version of "The Birds" swarming the chandelier in the kitchen area! So what do you think? I think it has already done it's job today. The electrician came over this morning and I sure creeped him out! He said, "I don't think I could eat under that!" Hey, if I can't scare my kids, I think the electrician will do! Ha Ha, my work here is done!

Someone actually filmed these too videos, creepy aren't they? And I agree that Mr. Hitchcock would be so proud!

I so hope no accidents happened while this was going on.

Have a great weekend, and remember to watch the skies!

The sign says it all!

I found this sign today and pretty much was howling when I read it! And so here it sits on my table, yes it's all mine. Now I know many of you know what I'm talking about. I mean come on, once you have given birth gravity just doesn't work like it use to, am I right? My heavens I can't even cough without peeing!

Too funny and crap I just got my seat wet!

It's Raining, I think I'm going to...........

1. Put on bathing suit on and paint myself all crazy colors and then watch as the rain washes it off!
2. Make a farting noise, and say "Wow, did you hear that thunder roar?"
3. Lay on my stomach in a puddle and scream: "I'm melting, I'm melting!"
4. Gather all the electronics from my house and lay them out on the grass, and watch let them all get wet!
5. Run around and scream the words to Singing in the Rain.

I think I might get myself one of these and bike around or better yet.......

I think my husband and I are just going to walk around town like this!

What do you think, good look, isn't it?

Enjoy the day, rain or shine!

Arches National Park!

This was our trip to Arches National Park just outside Moab, Utah. As amazing as it was it was well over 100 degrees and frankly unbearable. I just can't stand the heat, I really hate to sweat!

Poor kid, he was complaining that he was melting and begged not to go up! I said of course he had to because we may never make it back her again. What a Meany I am, plus I headed back to the car because of my leg.

James was happy to take a little break!

Claire was a trooper and didn't complain. What a cutie!

She even managed to take a picture of her dad so there was proof he was there!

They all made it up and back down and enjoyed the view, doesn't it look beautiful up there?

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Morning flight!

I just so happened to look out the window at the same time a visitor dropped by for a visit. I think it's a hawk but I don't know my birds at all. Just thought it was cool to see and thought you might enjoy!

Goodwill Box = Home for Creepy Crawlies!

I found this awesome box at the GW for $5.00. It wasn't maybe the best GW deal I've gotten, but it had a ton of wonderful shells inside and tons of potential. I can use the shells next summer for decorating and my kids love shells after being at Newport Beach this summer, so they won't go to waste!

So I looked at this box and said, "Ok self, what can I do with this for Halloween?" Answer ~ How about some creepy crawlies coming out and scaring my husband because he hates spiders!

Moss from Hobby Lobster I think $2 for a big bag, glitter spiders from Walmart $2 for pack of 8 and I used 2 packs. I had the large spider on hand already!

How would you like to have these creepy crawlies on your table?

Our Halloween Haven!

Well the witch is in folks! I've been happily scurrying around setting up Halloween and I wanted you to catch a glimpse of what I've been up too!

Of course, I've changed my upside down tree to be a little spookier than usual!

Skull heads and a few bones I added under cloches! Someone got their hand caught in the drawer, ouch!

This is Rufus our Halloween Rooster all decked out! He loves his boa! Yes, he's a little gay and he's proud of it! Ha, hadn't noticed the silly bandz on his tail until now? My husband usually sticks things like receipts and other papers in his belly to annoy me!

Jack and his big grin!

Well, I do, don't you?

I love this witch! She sits above my computer area, cackling at me! Don't you love that I crossed her legs?

This guy is right above my computer also. The three black balls sitting in boxes are just black ornaments that I added some Halloween bling stickers to give them some life!

A friend gave me this chandelier ornament for my birthday!

Bats in the Belfry! I thought we should have bats flying around us while we ate in the kitchen area!

Eyeball anyone?

One of my Glitterville ornaments!

So there you have it! I'll be back to show you more, because believe it or not, there really is more! Yes it's crazy but hey, I am the Halloween Queen! Who knows maybe next time things will look a little different. I have to let things sit for a few days to see if I like it. I have tons of spider webs to hang and then you'll get to see what I'm doing with my mantle! Until next time, Muwhaaaaaaa!

9/11 Bud Commercial - Wow!

Today is Saturday, which means Football Saturday and all that goes along with a game day! Tailgating, friends and much drinking for many! But today also marks the ninth anniversary of a devastating attack on two U.S. landmarks. Most of us can remember exactly what we were doing at that moment and how we were feeling as if it were yesterday. I know I can.

Life goes on as it should but let us not forget the victims and their families that are still suffering from that horrible tragedy!

Here is a video that only aired once because they didn't want to profit from such a ghastly day!

Please turn off music at left before playing video!
