I could barely get the container and bread to the trash, without throwing up! I mean, I could hardly breathe! Once I decided to do this post I just happened to notice the same exact things she had, in her bag listed under moldy lunch food! I'm guessing its a common thing with kiddos!
Dun, Dun, Dun ~ leftover noodles, barf! Seriously, she had noodles that looked just like this!
Well after I survived that ordeal I decided to do some shopping and I laughed when I saw these...
Anti-Theft lunch bags, ha for sure no one will be stealing my kids lunches with these moldy stand-ins! What a hoot!
Funny thing is, looking at these things now, I don't feel so sick. Who wants some ice cream?

Yuck!
OK, that's pretty gross, but in defense of your daughter, those clementines do go bad rather quickly. ; )

Eeeewwwwhhhh...I left my lunch box in the car last week with a tupperware dish of leftover chicken salad...and a banana peel. It went right in the trash...I just had to save the fork. Yuk!
it happens. even to people that haven't ate in a gymnasium in years. last summer i left a doggie bag--part of a chicken sandwich in my husband's car. the car he drove to the airport the next morning and left in the parking garage for almost two weeks. good thing, it was storming when he returned to the car--he drove the 50 miles home with the windows down, in a thunderstorm. i earn my keep. ;)
Wow! How strange ... I think we just grew that same science experiment! Yeah, I didn't like that lunchbox that much anyway.
This is a riot, Funky Woman! I've been "lucky" enough to fin similar-looking science projects in my refrigerator crisper drawers, which had me wondering, "what the heck was that in the first place" --?
;)
I love it! You had lol-ing...I do this same thing with leftovers in my fridge all the time. It's like I like to challenge myself to try to keep from gagging!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I'll be following yours now as well and look forward to exploring all your posts!
