When my mother died we had an Irish wake to celebrate her life and of course we had to have lots of Irish Music and Guinness. I myself do not like Guinness but on that night I did toast to my mother while a fellow sang "Oh Danny Boy" in my parent's backyard. It was very lovely as far as funerals go.
So today I toast my mother since she was Irish and loved St. Patty's Day! Lucky for her, she made it to Ireland before she died. She sat in a little Irish pub and drank the best Guinness she had ever had!
Cheers Mom!
If you have never seen or heard The Celtic Woman, then you are in for a real treat. Not only are they gorgeous but they are such amazing singers! Turn my music off before playing!

Great way to honor your Mom, I can relate.
That song always makes me cry. Coming from Celtic stock too our family always sing that song, along with 'Maggie' and 'Liverpool Lullaby' at get togethers.
Here's to the memory of your mam.
