My 1st Award of 2011!

Happy New Year to all my Bloggy Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Holiday!

I would first like to say YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and show you my excitement about the kids going back to school tomorrow!

Now don't gasp, you all feel the same way!

We actually had a very fun and lazy break. Lots of Lego's, barbies, board games (bananagrams is a lot of fun) Kinect, movies, baking and sleepovers. Its time for this house and this mom to get back to normal.

Today I was awarded my first award of 2011! How cool is that? It is from Karen over at not just baby talk

7 Things about Moi! Hmmmmm.....

1. I want to take singing lessons! No, not to be the next American Idol or even on Americas Got Talent. I just like to sing and would like to have my husband stop asking me, "Hey did you write that song?" And me saying, "No, of course not!" And him saying, "Then why don't we leave it to the artist because they have talent!" Meany ! And for the record, I'm not that bad!

2. Huge pet peeve of mine is when people crack their knuckles! My son has a horrible habit of it and ugh I hate it!

3. I usually keep my Christmas up until February! Yes I am one of those! I think its because in Iowa January is so gloomy outside. But I have to tell you its killing me and I have already taken the big tree down! I'm thinking it will happen this week!

4. I clean the shower when I'm in the shower! I pray my inhaling of all the fumes won't give me cancer but it is so much easier to clean it that way. Don't all of you do that?

5. I am a product junkie! Yep its true! I love Walgreens! When my sister comes to visit she doesn't have to bring any toiletries, because I am fully stocked.

6. I have a love hate relationship with Face Book! I hate the fact that some people from High School seem to brag about their lives but I love to see what it is they are up to, why is that?

7. I would rather clean and organize someone else's home than my own! I use to have my own business doing that many moons ago and who knows maybe someday I will again!
