Something Wicked This Way Comes!

It's been a busy week for me, collecting all homeless crows and spiders to nest in my home for the upcoming month! Many of them scurry this way as the weather slowly dips and the nights bring on an eerie glow!

Rest in Pieces!

Jack, that guy is always smilin!

This guy hung around too long after our last Halloween Party!

Whooo, are you looking at?

Care for a spooky cocktail?

I guess he found a comfy place to lay his bony head!

Time to call the exterminator!

Lots more adding and sprucing to do to get ready for our big Halloween Bash! Should be a frightfully ghoulish night!

Those are great decorations. You really put in the time to make the place look great but it is still 4 weeks until Halloween. My wife would kill me if I had bones all over the house for that long unless ribs were involved. Nice pix. W.C.C.

OMG !!! Megan can you please adopt me ?? I don't know how that would work as we are more or less the same age but anyway.. Your kid's must have an absolute blast with you as their mum !! Your decorations look totally amazing. We don't do Halloween here and I've always felt deprived :-( I attempted to have a Halloween party when I was a teenager. We had the mystery blind-folded trail through the house with vaseline on the door handles, crepe bandages dangling from the ceiling ("spider-webs"). There were grapes set in jelly ("preserved eye balls"), spagetti ("worms") and we bobbed for apples while listening to the Monster Mash. Totally lame I know but I had nothing to compare it to LOL.
Have a super scary Halloween bash..am totally jeolous and can't wait to see more photos !!!

* Warning - Long comment. :)

Oh my girl, will you come "do" my house for Halloween?

That purple wall is just so perfect for a backdrop. You could be a whole Martha Stewart spread with this post.
Seriously, these vignettes have such fun elements and I love the way you set them up to tell a story. Stellar. The witch hat is so cool. Tj's or Von Maur? and I loved the pumpkin that looks like he is sitting in a wreath on top of a cake plate. The eat , drink poster I just may have to copy when or if I ever find the time and the hands in the bookcase made me oh h and ahh for sure. Love it all. How fun to be at your house. Will you do a party or it is just for you and the fam? Now that my kids are all out of the house I'm not quite as inspired but you have made me want to go upstairs and dig out the boxes of orange, black and purple.
Thanks. I think.

Megan,
I love the smiling Jack. You sure have been busy decorating your house. Jess did a Halloween post today too. It must be something in the air. Have a fun Fall weekend.
