How Does your Garden Grow!

Mary Mary quite contrary how does your garden grow?
With 4 extra hands and a few little paws
and a very patient man letting go!

My husband loves his garden but when the children and the dog insisted on helping I could see it in his face, "Really, do they have to?" He's a good sport and I think he liked the extra help after all!

I meant to show these a couple weeks ago but spaced it! Our garden is really taking off and I'm so excited because we have broccoli and that is my favorite. Also in a few weeks we will have strawberries! My husband made a raised strawberry patch and at night he has lights around it! I'll be sure to post when they are ready for picking!

Claire is my strong child, she basically threw the bag of soil over the fence!

I guess Jim's having them stomp big clumps of soil and hey, maybe this will pay off when they try out for grape stomping for wine making!

It makes me smile big to see my children working, ahhhh!

It seriously killed Theo our dog to not get in on the action!

Happy Monday everyone!

Great garden! I love broccoli, but my mom's broccoli from the garden growing up almost ruined it for me... I have to go store bought ever since!

I need to show these pics to my hubby, we have chickens and they have pecked everything. I like the fence you have around your garden.

Love, love, love it! Cool fence. Here in Idaho we had a late snow storm and I believe it killed my pumpkin plants, although the tomatoes are covered with Glad bags because in a pinch, it was all I could find! I think they will make it. Would take pictures but the wind would probably blow the camera out of my hand. Can't wait to see pics of your yummy strawberries!

Oh yeah! Another gardener! I'm so excited to see your garden's progress. I haven't tried to grow broccoli before. Have you done it in prior years? Maybe I'll give it a whirl this year.
