Oh, I love me some Target!

Who doesn't love Target? I mean really, is it just me? There is just something about seeing Red that makes me Happy! My poor friend is moving to a new town and I am so sad for her because there is no Target close by. I couldn't move then. Really, I'd be like bye bye honey! My prerequisite for moving to a new city is there must be a Target.

Sorry, but Wally World just doesn't cut it for me!

I came upon this the other day, Pinterest of course and knew I had to post it!

Have a good one! Gotta run, I"m off to Target!

Maya Angelou...you are Amazing!

I came across this quote of Maya Angelou today and thought it was worth sharing. She is truly an inspiration to all people!

“I don’t know if I continue, even today, always liking myself. But what I learned to do many years ago was to forgive myself. It is very important for every human being to forgive herself or himself because if you live, you will make mistakes- it is inevitable. But once you do and you see the mistake, then you forgive yourself and say, ‘Well, if I’d known better I’d have done better,’ that’s all. So you say to people who you think you may have injured, ‘I’m sorry,’ and then you say to yourself, ‘I’m sorry.’ If we all hold on to the mistake, we can’t see our own glory in the mirror because we have the mistake between our faces and the mirror; we can’t see what we’re capable of being. You can ask forgiveness of others, but in the end the real forgiveness is in one’s own self. I think that young men and women are so caught by the way they see themselves. Now mind you. When a larger society sees them as unattractive, as threats, as too black or too white or too poor or too fat or too thin or too sexual or too asexual, that’s rough. But you can overcome that. The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. If we don’t have that we never grow, we never learn, and sure as hell we should never teach.”

On the Road Again!

I'm so excited to finally be meeting this little guy! He is my new nephew Wyatt. So do you think he looks like his dad or what? Claire and I are jumping in the car and driving a couple of hours to hold and squeeze him. I don't know who's more excited but we can't wait to leave. Packing up the car and hitting the road. Nebraska here we come!

I'll be back on Wednesday with lots of pics!

Happy Day!

My New Year's Resolution!

I'm not much of a conformist!

Ok, fine, I'll conform just this once. Let me think here. Hmmmm, If you don't mind waiting, it might take me a minute. Remember, patience is a virtue.

(Just pretend the theme song from Jeopardy is playing in the background, and feel free to hum along)!

Jinkies! I got one! I totally think some of you ladies, whoa, sorry, what was I thinking? I didn't mean to be gender biased here!

I really think after you read my resolution, many of you men and women will want to add this one to your Resolution list.

Are you ready? Wait for it.......Here it comes.....

WEAR MORE JEWELRY!!!!!!!!

I'm just saying!
