I thought I would give a little Halloween touch up to a rather interesting picture. My husband on the other hand doesn't find it interesting or unique. No, he Hates this picture with a capital "H"!
I'm not exactly sure why I'm drawn to portraits, but this one in particular just spoke to me. I guess its because I wonder who the portrait is of. What is the story behind that person being painted? Is it a picture of the artist's mother or is she painting a self portrait? Well, to get my husband to shut up about it and stop begging me to take it down, I thought I'd give it some Halloween flair!
Here she is before!
And here she is all dressed up for the party!
I'm thinking I need to get the red paint ready and paint a Santa hat for Christmas on her!
Happy Sunday everyone!
Off to cheer for my son's 6th grade Football team to victory!

Such a great idea! Made me laugh, and I am definitely going to do this. And kinda agree with your HIGH-FIVE post last Tuesday. You crack me up!
Cheers -- Valerie

Megan,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my halloween decor! I love all the halloween touches you've done...and I love the embellished portrait (I like portraits of strangers too :)
Hi Megan
Thanks for following Pawsitive Living. Following back. :-)
Love it! I wasn't sure at first, but I tend to agree after seeing this - everyone does look good in a witch's hat!
For sure...then a New Year's "2012" hat....and bunny ears for Easter too. Sooo much fun!
Ha! I love it. Little surprises like that around the home at the Holidays are the best.
Lovely idea! Looking forward to when it becomes a red hat! Have a gorgeous weekend ahead, Kellie xx
What will you do with about Arbor Day?
That is fabulous Meg! You are so clever.
That is funny. Maybe you will have to get some green paint for St. Pat's day too!
How fun are you?
Hugs,
Pam
Hilarious! Maybe you can do with it like my neighbot does with her concrete goose--an outfit for every season.
The picture is very nice! But with your decor it looks very joyful :)
