Did you hear any screaming this morning? If you did, that was me showing the world my excitement that today is the 1st day of school! I think I'm going to sit and have a nice cup of Joe and bask in the silence of my abode and love the fact that no one is calling, "Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom!"
Claire and James on their first day of 1st grade and 5th grade!
James got this shirt from Disneyland and thought it made a good 1st day of school shirt!
Claire and our next door neighbor Lauren who happens to be in Claire's class!
Enjoy your day, whatever it may bring!

Ahhh, enjoy! I love how is that last years picture in your sidebar (?) and then you have them this year in the same place. What a great idea. Look how they've grown!! I'm going to have to borrow thia idea. Sighs, here. My oldest is just starting the school years here with preschool. I'm not sure i'm ready for this. Of course I'll still have one home with me so that makes a difference.

I have another week! I feel like summer has flown by - but I like the non-schedule! It will be bittersweet for me when they head back to school. Trying to cram in things we havent done yet - Woodward Dream Cruise is this weekend! So much fun to see all the old cars! It starts early - people actually cruise all week long - we went last night and are going Friday too! Your kids are so cute!
Wishing them a wonderful school year! Our school starts next Wed,

I cannot even imagine how it would be to have all my kids in school. . . (dreaming now. . . )
Happy schooling to the kids and happy free hours to you!!
lucky mom! (because they look happy to be going, of course! ;) ) Ours don't go back until after Labor Day.
