I've been busy rearranging lately! Something I can't help but do pretty much on a daily basis. In fact its been what my husband refers to as "Hammer Time!" No not because we've been listening to......
Or even practicing our M.C. Hammer slide!
What I have been doing is hammering nails and hanging pictures. Here is my Living Room wall before with buffet. I love this green buffet but decided it just wasn't working with my furniture so I switched the buffet out and brought in my dresser from the entry.
Ta Da!
I've incorporated some favorite pictures I've been collecting for a while. Some that were my moms and others that just spoke to me! I realize now I need to hide that cord from the lamp!

The chair is from the Goodwill and still not sure if I will paint it or not. What do you think?
The pillow cover I found and just threw a pillow form I already had. I thought the 4 was fun and could represent the 4 members in our family! Well just the humans! I wasn't going to refer to the many creatures we still have!
I will be showing more pictures of the Living Room this week, and where I put the green buffet!
Spring Break is over for us, thank God. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't get a call from school. My daughter complained of a belly ache this morning. If she does come home I will feel awful that I made her toughen up and go!

Love it, but yes paint the chair.
ReplyDeleteAwesome green buffet! I did some curtain rearranging this weekend.
seriously, i think we live in a parellel universe. we (my sons and i) had a lengthy discussion about m.c. hammer last night--it included talk of flat-tops and hammer pants. i love the ta-da after. and i just cut a #4 stencil this weekend. that's just plain weird and a little awesome, dont'cha think? and the hand molds and stripe-y shade. ooh la la. if you decide against those things i'll send you my address:) i hope the school doesn't call--our's did AGAIN today--saying our youngest wasn't in school. wrong kid, again. it's march, and my son's teacher isn't sure of his name. is it june yet?
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!!

ReplyDeleteSo have you started reading WFE yet? I posted a blog on my book club's site asking who wants to go see the movie together and NO ONE has commented yet. Can anyone say 'book club leper'? Anyhoo I'll be seeing those ladies this Saturday so there will be answers by God !!
Oh... I like the redesign. You should keep the chair white and then do the pillow in a balck and white pattern to tie in with the lamp.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Wanna come to my place and work some magic?
